If you see a notice on the Address Book main page that you have Shared Addresses waiting for you, it means that another member of Family Clippings has chosen to share one of the addresses in their Address Book with you.

This is the most powerful feature of Family Clippings, since it allows you to view the same address information as someone else. If a change is made to the address, everyone able to view that address will see the new information.

Click on the yellow note graphic to go to the Shared Addresses page. (Pretty cool graphic, huh?) The addresses that have been shared with you will be listed, with the available actions at the bottom of the page.

Check the box next to the addresses you would like to process, and select the action you wish to perform. You can check or un-check all the listed addresses by selecting the appropriate button at the top of the list. Note: Select only one action to perform at a time.

Available Actions for Shared Addresses 

Delete checked addresses?

Check this box to delete the addresses you have checked, and click on the "Submit" button.

Move the checked addresses to the following group:

You can move the checked addresses to a pre-existing Address Group by selecting a group from the list in the drop-down. When you have done so, click on the "Submit" button to complete the action. You may select one group at this time, and you can select more groups when you view the address later.

Create a new group to move the checked addresses to

If you would like to move the address to a new Address Group, select this action. Enter the name of the group you want to create in the blank, and click on the "Submit" button to complete the action. If you want to assign this address to more groups, you can do so when you view the address later.
